Having been established for over twenty years, Preston Plastics operates one of the most modern reprocessing facilities in the UK. Our prestigious two acre manufacturing facility functions 24 hours a day with 24 fully trained operators working on various lines.
We have developed a solid and well-deserved reputation with our customers and are extremely proud of the fact that 90% of all of our business is repeat, We cater for all organisations from blue chip companies through to independent businesses and advise both on new and existing recycling projects and needs. We work in partnership with our customers to ensure we meet your every demand. We have a strong customer network for finished product within the UK but also regularly export materials to Europe and China. Our continued customer base expansion is due to our strict in-house quality assurance procedure, which is rigorously adhered to and assures a quality finished product every time.
It is the aim of Preston Plastics to continually invest in up to date, state of the art recycling technology and equipment and to ensure that all our staff are fully skilled and trained in all aspects of polymer recycling. We have achieved this aim and our success continues to grow.

Waste Plastic Recycling
Preston Plastics is able to collect and reprocess most types of waste and re-use this in a wide variety of products. We have a well-earned reputation for producing high quality reprocessed compound agglomerate and granulate in a variety of different plastics for use in a multitude of different applications.
We specialise in the processing of all types of plastic and most polymer types including:
- polypropylene plastics (PP plastics)
- low density polyethylene (LDPE)
- high density polyethylene (HDPE)
- medium density polyethylene (MDPE)
- Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
- High Impact Polystyrene plastics (HIPS plastics)
Packaging Compliance
The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste Regulations) 2007 has set objectives for the British industry in relation to the recovery and recycling of packaging waste.
